Olugbenga has a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland after graduating with a B.Sc(Hons) Degree(2:1) in Information Systems from De Montfort University, Leceister, England. Olugbenga is also a Chartered Accountant with Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in addition to various professional membership both in the United kingdom and Nigeria
